OBJECTIVE: Increase brand awareness in the travel and lifestyle industry. Drive traffic, build backlinks and pass link equity to the Paris and Amsterdam and Berlin destination pages via competition page.

CONCEPT: A travel blogging competition on the AccorHotels site offering bloggers the chance to win a once in a lifetime trip across Europe. Entries submitted via blog post or video and posted on Twitter using #AccorHotels24hrs. Three hand picked ambassadors created supporting content, increased awareness for the campaign and also acted in the judging process.

RESULT: Quality on-site content for AccorHotels which has received 15,403 visits to date. 165 blog and video entries with 72 links back to AH.com. The campaign hashtag #AccorHotels24hrs was used 1,434 times by 856 users on Twitter and Instagram, while on Facebook it reached 337,390 combined paid and organic reach. The campaign offered an overall potential reach of 4,607,891.

SERP RESULTS

The Paris destination page moved up 10.3 rank positions.

The Amsterdam destination page moved up 5.6 rank positions.

The Berlin destination page moved up 6.1 rank positions.
